Mainstream media sources on Twitter are saying that Brian Cowen is to make his announcement of his intentions live to the nation sometime between 4:30 to 5:00pm.
No exact time has been given but RTÉ’s rolling news should be broadcasting the announcement online on the RTÉ Player. BBC News and Sky News will also be showing the press conference. Sky News’ live stream is available here.
