An app that gives you fashion advice in real-time when faced with a dressing room dilemma?

Sociable’s Craig Corbett gives us the rundown on his torturous attempts to try on the right outfit when shopping, and how one app is helping people like him in their times of dire need behind the curtain.

Going shopping with me is a mistake you only make one time —  a torturously slow and painful process only endured by the most faithful of friends.

While by no means a fashionista, I am choosy about the clothes that I buy and very indecisive. More often than not, I leave a shop after an hour, totally empty-handed.

The most frustrating aspect for my saint-like shopping partners is not that I will try on the same t-shirt three times and then dump it before making it to the cashier, but the fact that I will ask for their advice on an outfit… and then totally ignore their recommendations.

Why is TiZKKA awesome?

What I need is resident fashion adviser, a flatmate who works for a Milan fashion house, or a friendly neighborhood fashion blogger who I can call on in my [all too regular] hour of need. Since I don’t plan on making the move to Bushwick or Chelsea any time soon, I can just pick up my phone, snap a selfie, and upload my designer dilemma to the TiZKKA app, which is now on iOS. In a matter of minutes, my selfie will receive the yay or nay from a roster of fashion professionals who really know what they are talking about (no disrespect intended to stylish and oh-so-patient friends).

After snapping a quick selfie of your outfit, TiZKKA delivers on-demand advice from real fashion professionals straight to your smartphone.

Similar to Instagram, users can also ask their TiZKKA followers for feedback, meaning that my friends can anonymously share their opinions from a safe distance, with no fear of tantrums or snappy retorts about their own clothes.

TiZKKA has already taken the Brazilian Fashion scene by storm – voted #1 lifestyle app on iOS store after just 2 weeks- and is now available for free download in English, Spanish and Portuguese, offering fashion advice straight from your pocket for dressing room divas all over the world.

Say goodbye to dressing room dilemmas. With TiZKKA, pro fashion advice is as easy as a pout and a selfie.
