Ireland.com launches iPad app

Ireland.com, an online tourist guide of what to do in Ireland, have released a dedicated iPad app, following the release of their iPhone app last year.

According to their own description the app provides,

“the definitive guide to what to do in Ireland, offering its users vibrant, up-to-the minute news, content and ideas, attracting both a domestic and international audience.”

The app isn’t particularly feature rich but does provide good information on entertainment venues around Ireland, pubs, restaurants, hotels, B&Bs, guesthouses, self-catering accommodation, and over ten thousand activities ranging from “golf to surfing”.

The app is a good starting point for any tourist or individual seeking to be entertained in Ireland. Lets hope to see similar Irish tourism apps in the future.
