Techstars partners with the world’s largest beverage company to showcase 10 startups that are bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and booze.
Business accelerator Techstars partnered with AB InBev to host the Techstars Connection Demo Day on Thursday in Manhattan where 10 tech startups specializing in everything from making it easier to find people to go for a beer with, to fundamentally changing the way the fermentation process works, were on display.
Among these innovative imbibers include the likes of Quantac, whose sensor technology can tell you how many drinks you’ve had in standard drink units and when you will hit sobriety if you stop drinking.
While we humans may have a difficult time gauging how many we’ve downed during a light-hearted session, fortunately for us, this tipsy-telling wearable will never let us down.
Nine other startups have put all their efforts three sheets to the wind to deliver us controlled fermentation, automated flavor optimization, marketing tools, where to find rare spirits, and social platforms, among others.
