Google Chrome gets Instant Pages

Google Instant Pages has been rolled out to users of Chrome 13 stable, a feature that was previously only available in Chrome beta. Instant Pages enables certain web pages to be loaded almost instantly by preloading Google Search results that are mostly likely to be clicked.

The new stable version of Chrome 13 also brings a new print preview feature for Windows and Linue users, and improvements to the performance of Chrome’s omnibox (all-in-one search box/address bar).

Earlier this week it emerged that Google Chrome is now the UK’s second most popular web browser, overtaking Mozilla Firefox and rapidly gaining ground on the market leader Internet Explorer. Globally, Chrome is still in third place as regards usage market share.
