For many companies, the challenge with artificial intelligence is no longer finding a powerful model. It is getting that technology to work reliably inside the business, where data quality, governance, and human oversight can determine whether an AI project delivers measurable results or remains stuck in experimentation.
Data and AI operationalization company Straive is looking to address that gap through a new partnership with OpenAI, joining the company’s global Partner Network as a Select Partner.
The designation will see Straive work with OpenAI to help organizations build, deploy, and scale AI solutions across their operations. The partnership combines OpenAI’s models with Straive’s capabilities in data readiness, solution design, deployment, governance, and ongoing optimization.
The move comes as enterprise AI adoption increasingly depends on integrating models into everyday workflows rather than simply making them available to employees. OpenAI has also highlighted a shift from AI-assisted tasks toward systems that can take on more substantive work, with enterprise data, tools, and governance playing a central role in that transition.
From AI experimentation to enterprise deployment

Straive’s approach is organized around two capabilities, Build AI and Run AI, which cover the process of designing AI solutions and operating them after deployment. The company says the combination is intended to help organizations embed AI into existing workflows while maintaining governance and continuous improvement.
“AI delivers value when it becomes part of how people make decisions and get work done every day,” said Naveen Gattu, Chief Growth Officer at Straive. “We see this partnership as an opportunity to bring OpenAI’s capabilities into industry-specific workflows, with the governance, human oversight, and continuous improvement enterprises need to scale with confidence.”
Straive works across financial services, healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing and supply chain, media and entertainment, education and research, and publishing. These sectors often rely on specialized information and established operational processes, making the integration of AI into existing systems a significant part of enterprise deployment.
The company’s generative AI portfolio includes LLM Foundry, a multi-model platform that supports OpenAI models and offers reusable components for building enterprise applications.
“Enterprises need more than access to powerful models. They need the domain context, data foundations, and operating discipline to make AI useful at scale,” said Sean Manning, Vice President and Global Head of Partnerships at Straive.
Manning added that the Select Partner designation creates opportunities to combine OpenAI’s capabilities with Straive’s operational expertise to help customers turn early-stage AI ideas into dependable business outcomes.
Scaling AI with governance and operational discipline
The OpenAI Partner Network is designed to bring together organizations with industry expertise, delivery capabilities, and established customer relationships to build, sell, and deliver AI solutions. Its resources and support are intended to help partners translate AI capabilities into measurable business impact.
For Straive, the next step is to expand its OpenAI-related solutions and delivery capabilities, with an emphasis on helping customers move from experimentation to governed deployment and ongoing optimization.
The announcement does not specify new customer deployments, financial terms, or implementation timelines tied to the partnership. Its immediate focus is on expanding the companies’ ability to bring AI into enterprise workflows.
As businesses continue to explore generative AI, the challenge is increasingly about execution: connecting models to relevant data, adapting them to industry-specific requirements, and maintaining oversight as systems become part of day-to-day operations. Straive’s new designation positions the company to pursue that opportunity alongside OpenAI.
