He’s surly, short tempered and now on Twitter. Jeff Albertson, better known as Comic Book Guy, has made his way from Springfield to San Diego to live tweet this year’s Comic Con.
Describing himself as, “Comic Shop owner, creator of Everyman & hater of the movie version of same. I am fluent in Klingon & the Binary Language of Moisture Evaporators,” Comic Book Guy posted his first tweet less than a day ago to @ComicBookGuy and in that time already has over 2,500 followers.
I’m off to #ComicCon, aka “The Gathering Of The Normals.” #FOXSDCC

The annual Comic Con event (@Comic_Con | Facebook | Flickr) takes place between July 21 and 24 during which time Comic Book Guy will be tweeting his experiences and opinions of the exhibits – although he’s only there a few hours and he is not definitly happy;
Worst. #ComicCon. Ever. The Exhibit Hall is totally dead!Um, it’s being held in Anaheim this year, right?#FOXSDCC

Attending this year’s Con are Dreamworks, HBO, Sony, Universal, Showtime, and Warner Bros. Attendees (possibly including Comic Book Guy) will be looking forward to seeing previews to up coming shows such as The Secret Circle, Person of Interest, and Alcatraz. The Con will also be screen episodes of the BBC’s Torchwood Miracle Day, Joss Whedon’s Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog, and will feature a break down of the Twilight series, among many others events.
As far as we know Comic Book Guy is only attending The Con and has not set up a stall for his The Androids’ Dungeon so if you want to pick up your Radioactive Man comics best get to Springfield.
