Professional photo sharing site 500px has debuted its new, improved image uploader that delivers a "clever redesign and elegant interface created to optimize your upload experience".
This miniature camera, currently being developed by a research group at IAMAS, Japan, allows you to frame scenes using your fingers - just as you would form a rectangle with your hands to help decide the composition of a particular shot.
Instagram, the hugely popular photo-sharing and filtering app, currently only available on iOS, is arriving on Android "very soon", having passed 27 million registered users in recent days.
The 2011 Irish Blog Awards are now over and we've gotten the chance to finally share some of last night's images on Flickr.
