Sony is warning users that they must reset their hacked Qriocity passwords as a ‘safety measure’ before they can access the network. The company made the warning in an email set out today.
Qriocity,as well as PlayStation Network accounts, have been inaccessible for the past month. Sony brought down the network when they discovered that users’ information had been stolen in a targeted attack.
Earlier in the month Sony emailed Qriocity and PlayStation Network users warning them to be on the look out for phishing scams. The company is afriad that leaked user information could be used to scam users.
Although the company has blamed Anonymous the group has said it was not responsible.
