Twitter’s latest DM scam; How to protect yourself and followers

Another scam has become rampant on Twitter over the past few days, with a spat of direct messages being unlawfully sent via hi-jacked Twitter accounts. The majority of messages read "guaranteed. make $3,000 to $8,000 a month from home" or similar, and it's well advised that follow-through links within not be clicked.

O2 Ireland victim of email phishing scam

O2 Ireland is warning its 1.7 million users to be aware of a fake “phishing” emails purporting to be from the company. The fake emails tell O2 customers to click a link where they are asked to provide their O2.ie login details. These emails do not originate from O2 nor are they associated with the company.
