The Journal has taken home the grand prize at the fourth annual Irish Web Awards, held in Dublin’s Mansion House tonight. One of Ireland’s youngest news sites The Journal received three nominations in the awards (Best Web Only Publication, Most Innovative Website, Best Mobile Site) and took home Best Web Only Publication as well as the Grand Prix.
The Organic Supermarket (Most Beautiful Website in Ireland, Best SME/Small Business Website) and Ex Ordo (Best New Web Application/Service, Best Practice) were the other big winners of the night with two awards each.
