Last year Google made available 80,000 kilometres of panoramic imagery of Irish streets and roads to access freely in Google Street View. Along with the Google car, Google utilised the Trike to capture difficult, inaccessible areas of special interest. Today we see one such release as images of the National Botanic Gardens in Dublin are introduced, allowing path-by-path exploration of the beautiful plant collection.
Images of the National Botanic Gardens are available from today in Google Street View, along with images of the Château de Chenonceaux in Civray-de-Touraine, France, and Balboa Park in San Diego, California.
Although the images are a great addition to Street View, there’s still nothing quite like visiting the gardens in person.
