Notorious torrent site The Pirate Bay is working on new dedicated music sharing project, entitled “The Music Bay”, which will instill further fear into the heart of the phonographic industry. The Pirate Bay is currently used by millions to facilitate sharing of (mostly pirated) music, movies, and software.

Sony’s Qriocity online music plays gets international release

Sony’s sexily titled “Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity™” was made available to international audiences today, a month after being piloted in Ireland the UK. The Qriocity music player will now be available to users in the USA, Europe and Asia on Sony’s 2010 and 2011 models of network-enabled BRAVIA TV, Blu-ray Disc player, Blu-ray Disc Home Theater system, PlayStation 3 as well as VAIO and other personal computers.

Guinness’s ‘There is more life in the dark’ campaign airs on Irish television

Irish International BBDO is premiering its new international ad for Diagio’s Guinness brand, Dark Life, on Irish television this weekend. The latest in Guinness’s iconic commercials uses state-of-the-art digital post production techniques, as well as some nice Canon 5D digital cameras, to superimpose the famous stout’s head settling over some global cityscapes. It was directed by French director Frederic Planchon and filmed in cities from New York, Bogota & Hong Kong

Duke Nukem Forever gets a release date, for real this time

Duke Nukem Forever, its been a long wait, hasnt it? But today Gearbox Software and 2K Games announced that we will finally get our grubby mitts on the game, 14 years (yes you read that correctly) after it was first announced. The game will be released on May 6th (May 3rd in the States) after nearly a decade and a half of development.
