Redeem & Get has been announced as the winner of the ESB Electric Ireland Spark of Genius Award and will now receive a business support package worth €40,000 and an investment offer of €100,000 from ACT Venture Capital.
ESB ecars and Topaz have launched Ireland’s first electric vehicle fast-charge point in Coolshannagh, Co. Monaghan. This follows on from agreements between ESB ecars, Topaz, The Maxol Group, and Lidon last month that the roll-out of fast-charge points at service stations throughout the country would commence in May.
The Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) yesterday announced the decision to deregulate Electric Ireland, the re-branded energy supply business of the ESB, which could potentially mean lower energy bills for struggling Irish households. From April 4 Electric Ireland residential electricity prices will no longer be regulated - something that business customers have experienced since October of last year.
