Up to one million users face an internet blackout on July 9 as managed malicious DNS servers are due to be shut down. The rogue DNS servers are currently in the control of the FBI, having been commandeered late last year.
FileSonic has disabled its public file sharing service in the wake of MegaUpload's very public shut-down late last week. Instead, users are limited to only being able to retrieve files that they have uploaded themselves.
Two teenagers were arrested early this morning on suspicion of hacking Fine Gael's website in January of this year and allegedly gaining access to contact details of 2,000 site subscribers. Both males were released without charge a short time ago.
